MyMotors and The Small Town Girls

Small Town Girls

Special Announcement:

MyMotors.ca would like to announce that they have very special guests appearing on August 24th 2019, at the Car Show and Movie Night!

We can confirm that “The Small Town Girls” have been booked and ready to play a one hour set at our Car Show and Movie Night! Small Town Girls in the last year have been called the future of Canadian Country Music. Their YouTube videos have been shared by country icons such as Tanya Tucker. They have had the honour of sharing the stage twice with country music artist Brett Kissel among others. Their worldwide loyal fan base continues to grow on their social media accounts. In 2017, Small Town Girls hit the music scene with a storm, winning the Ice, Snow and 30 Below #kickitwithkissel contest at the ages of 12 and 14. They opened for Brett Kissel in Barrie, January 2017, where he commented that it was like watching "the Dixie Chicks for the first time on stage". They amazed the audience, making this the beginning of their musical journey. For 3 young girls, this was like a dream. Their hard work and dedication had paid off. For the next year, they continued to blossom, travelling province wide to perform at fairs and festivals. Their set list grew from 20 to 30 to 60 songs. They began songwriting with Jason Hamor from Nebraska and Doug Folkins from British Columbia. Songs like “Small Town Girls” and “Six String” were added to their set, showcasing their ability to write and harmonize their own music.

Arranged for a special appearance at approximately 7pm on August 24th and will complete a 1-hour set. This is a FREE EVENT open to the public. “We are anticipating approximately 150 cars for the car show, Plus, another 40 or 50 cars for the movie night. We have a 40 foot screen to show the movie American Graffiti, so everyone will get an awesome view of the movie”.
