MyMotors.ca Third Vehicle Purchased From Barrett Jackson

The Third and last purchase from Barrett Jackson this Spring in Palm Beach, Florida was this 1988 Toyota SR5 Pickup.

This Style of truck has been made famous from the movies Back To The Future trilogy and is one of the most memorable movies Hollywood has ever produced. The movie’s combination of a loveable cast, gripping plot, and timeless soundtrack, combined with the iconic vehicles, really propelled the movie into a cult classic. While the DMC DeLoren played the starring role in the film as Doc’s time machine, for many it was Marty McFly’s 1985 Toyota SR5 Xtra Cab pickup that stole the show.

This is a fully loaded limited edition extended-cab SR5 Toyota 4x4 truck. Dealers were only allocated a few of these per year in the '80s, and most trucks had the plain vinyl interiors with crank-down windows and no gauge package. This example has every single option that Toyota offered at that year, including power steering, brakes, windows, locks, mirrors and antenna, as well as a factory sunroof, lumbar bucket seats, cruise control, cargo light, tilt steering wheel and the gauge package. It’s powered by a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

This Toyota is also equipped with a brand-new air conditioning and heating system and a brand-new exhaust system. It comes with its original window sticker from the Toyota dealer in Florida from 1988, as well as the original owner’s manual. This truck has been in Florida its entire life and has no salt rust. It’s been garage-kept since its fresh repaint and decals, and has been fitted with new tires and wheels. It includes many extra parts as well, including seat covers, a car cover and a set of Bart black wheels.
